Edinburgh Textile Collective

Our weekly felting workshops need raw or washed wool fleece. Any breed, any colour. We use about 5kg per week. Happy to collect from farms within 50 miles of Edinburgh. Ongoing need.

Collection of genuine Harris Tweed offcuts from local tailors and upholsterers. Various weights and patterns - herringbone, check, plain. Pieces from 20cm to 1m. About 15kg total. Perfect for bags, cushions, patches.

Twelve large sheets of wet-felted merino wool (approx 60cm x 90cm each). Made in our workshops from donated fleece. Various colours - jewel tones. 3-4mm thick. Ideal for craft projects, home decor, or accessories.

Our screen printing workshop needs plain cotton fabric - sheeting, calico, or muslin. White or natural. Minimum 1m wide. Old bed sheets also welcome! We go through about 20m per month.

Eighty bath towels and forty hand towels from festival pop-up accommodation. White cotton, various brands. All laundered. Some slight discolouration but structurally perfect. Great for animal shelters, community projects.

Box of 45 wool-blend carpet tiles (50cm x 50cm) from office refurbishment. Interface brand, grey tones. Mix of 3 complementary patterns. Ideal for small spaces, studios, or creative flooring projects.
